More Baby Stuff

Well, my trip to Pensacola was well worth the trip. The big sale that my mom and I went to was not what we expected. There was alot of stuff but the prices weren't real good and we even found that some used things are better off not buying. We found a Sealy mattress for $20 and as we were making sure it was in good shape, we found dried puke in the seams. Nasty! Plus, the lines to check out were really long. I'm glad that we went to see what was there but it just didn't work out. I did come back with a baby tub that my friend gave me, a swing, bouncer and the cradle that we're going to use in our room once the baby gets here. I was also able to get some cute maternity clothes especially since Spring is right around the corner. I should have enough to last me unless I really get huge.

I'm going to get a few belly pics soon. My belly is starting to grow a little but I'm still not real big (thank goodness). I have to wait until Eric gets back into town on Sunday so he can take the pictures. Then, I will eventually get more as time goes by so we can see the progress.

Dan's New Toy

My brother got his new BMW Z4 this past weekend. He drove over to Pensacola to pick it up on Saturday. My parents and I all got to go for a short spin (one at a time of course). It's pretty spiffy!

Another Doctor's Appointment

I went to see the doctor again and everything is still going well. The heart rate is strong and normal. I have started feeling baby movements every once in awhile. It's definitely a strange feeling. I don't feel it all the time and sometimes it will be a couple of days before I feel something again but when I feel it, I know what it is now. I will have an ultrsound in 4 weeks and we'll be able to see more of the little munchkin growing inside of me. I can't wait!

Tia & Scott's Baby

Well, Tia had a little girl yesterday evening and everyone is healthy and doing well. She is 7 lbs. 10 oz. and is 21 inches long. I got to see a picture of her this morning but it was on my cell phone. As soon as get some more pics I will post them on the blog. I haven't been told what the name of the baby is yet. I'm not sure if they have decided. It's pretty exciting and we are happy that she finally made it into the world. Yippee!!!

Nothing much has Changed

There's really nothing new. I'm feeling great and enjoying food. Yesterday on my way to WalMart, I stopped at Starbucks and got a peppermint hot chocolate. It was delicious! I haven't had one in such a long time. I thought that winter would get away from me before I could enjoy one but it was perfect timing. I haven't posted any pics of my belly because I don't have much of a belly yet. I'm not really showing but eventually I will get some photos as things start to change.

I'm going to Pensacola next Wednesday to visit my parents and to do some baby shopping. There's a HUGE consignment sale on baby things at the Fairgrounds and we're going to check it out and maybe get a few things. It should be fun. I'm looking forward to it.

Tia's Having a Baby!

My sister-in-law Tia was due February 25 with her third child. Well, today is the 27th and she is finally going to have the baby! We have been waiting and waiting for this baby to arrive. She didn't find out the sex of the baby so it is quite exciting and we can't wait to hear if it's a boy or a girl. Hopefully, we will know something later today. Hoo-Ray!!!

Things are Good!

I am feeling better and better everyday. It's nice to be back to my normal self again.

I fianlly bought my first pair of maternity jeans the other day. I'm still able to wear my regular jeans and I will try to wear until they just don't fit anymore. I mainly wanted a pair here for that one day that I get up and my jeans don't fit. I got them from the Motherhood store. When my mom was here, we went shopping for maternity clothes and everything was huge. I was basically swimming in them. These are really cute and the other clothes they have there are also cute. Plus, they are super comfy!

We got the crib put together and as soon as the room doesn't look like a mess, I will take some pictures. It looks really nice in there. My mother-in-law got a turtle night light for the baby's room. It shines 8 constellations on the ceiling and can be either amber, green or blue. I just got it in the mail today. It's awesome!
