Turtle Wall Decor

I got the turtles up on the walls yesterday. They are perfect! Don't mind the TV that's in the way. Hopefully that will be out of there soon. Also, there's a picture of a turtle that my grandma crocheted a long time ago. My Aunt Jeannie gave it to us to go with our turtle theme. It's so cute!

Still Swelling

There is nothing I can really do to keep the swelling away but I have found that if I stay off my feet as much as I can, they don't swell up as big. Also, by staying off my feet, my hands don't swell up too bad and they don't hurt at night. I had gotten to the point where both my hands and feet were swelling and it was quite painful, especially when I sleep. I still stay pretty active but I just take it easy. Plus, with this heat up here, I don't really want to do much running around anyway. Other than that I'm still doing pretty good. A little tired here and there but I'm not real miserable yet.

Eric and I have another appointment Monday the 14th. This is our big ultrasound and our last one until the baby comes. I'm looking forward to seeing the little munchkin again. Hopefully we can get an idea as to how big the baby is now. I don't think it's going to be a big baby (thank goodness) and I know it's not an exact measurement. Our last ultrasound at 20 weeks showed that the baby looked more like it was 22 weeks. I'm hoping that that was just a growth spurt and now the baby is where it should be. We'll see. I can't wait! Hopefully I will have more pictures to post and possibly a DVD.

New Baby Update

Bo & Leslie had a little girl yesterday evening. She is 7lbs. 1oz. and 20 inches long. I was able to go up to the hospital today and see her. She's a pretty little baby. They haven't officially decided on the whole name but they are calling her Page which is Bo's middle name. Hopefully I can get some pictures soon. She is definitely a cutie!

Nursery

Well, the nursery is almost finished. My parents came up this past weekend and helped us get some things done around here. My mom and I put the baby's room together and it looks great! The curtains and crib skirt came out really nice. My mom added the yellow ball fringe to the curtains and definitely makes a difference. We just need to hang the turtles on the walls and figure out what we're going to do with the futon and TV that's in there. Other than that, it's perfect! Here are a few pictures of the room. I will get more when we get the turtles up.

A New Baby

There's a couple that lives in our neighborhood (Bo & Leslie) and they are having a baby today. Eric and Bo work together. It has definitley been nice having someone else to share this experience with. Her original due date was July 16 which made us 4 weeks apart. They decided to go ahead and induce and now we are waiting for the big news. They also did not find out the sex of the baby. Alot of their friends and family think it's going to be a boy so we'll have to wait and see. She went into the hospital yesterday and they were supposed to start inducing early this morning. I haven't heard anything yet but when I do, I will post the big news. Very exciting!
