Guest Bedroom Pics

The guest bedroom is just about finished. The only thing left to do is get my carpenter to hang a few pictures. Other than that I think it turned out quite nice.

I got a few pics of the dogs after a long, hot walk around the neighborhood. We got back to the house and they both went right for the pool. They love having the pool. Sadie definitely loves it more than Tucker. She gets in and lays down and tries to bite the water from the hose. We are learning that she's a little crazy. That's ok, she fits right in with other two wacky animals.

I found Abbey on the bed laying in a matt frame. She just looked like a picture so I took her picture. Silly cat.

Today is Lynn's 30th birthday! I hope you have a wonderful day. We wish we could be there with you to celebrate! Have fun!

Hummingbirds

I put a hummingbird feeder on the front porch yesterday and I kept checking to see some hummingbirds. At first I thought that maybe I didn't have hummingbirds flying around here or that they weren't able to get the nectar but I finally saw one this afternoon. Actually, I saw two. They are so tiny and fast. I just barely got a picture. I'm so excited and I can't wait to see them more often!

I took a few pics of the inside of the house. You can get an idea has to how things are coming along. It's a work in progress. I'm still in the process of decorating so there's nothing on the walls and not everything is unpacked completely but it's looking better everyday.

We're Home

It feels so good to be home again! We have traveling nonstop since July. Hopefully, we're done traveling for awhile.
We had a great time down in Florida. We were pretty busy running around trying to see our friends. Of course we couldn't see everyone but I know that we will be back down sometime. The wedding that we went to was nice. We didn't actually see the ceremony because we didn't RSVP on time but the reception was fun. We got to see some of our friends there.
On Sunday, we went over to Orlando because Eric had work to do there. I basically hung out at Dave's place (our friend that lives in Orlando) and went to the pool. Eric and I had dinner with my cousin Jenny and her husband Jeff and Eric's buddy Dave at TGIF's. It was a nice but short visit. It's too bad we didn't have more time. It was great to see them.
