Guest Bedroom Pics

The guest bedroom is just about finished. The only thing left to do is get my carpenter to hang a few pictures. Other than that I think it turned out quite nice.

I got a few pics of the dogs after a long, hot walk around the neighborhood. We got back to the house and they both went right for the pool. They love having the pool. Sadie definitely loves it more than Tucker. She gets in and lays down and tries to bite the water from the hose. We are learning that she's a little crazy. That's ok, she fits right in with other two wacky animals.

I found Abbey on the bed laying in a matt frame. She just looked like a picture so I took her picture. Silly cat.

Happy Birthday Lynn!!!

Today is Lynn's 30th birthday! I hope you have a wonderful day. We wish we could be there with you to celebrate! Have fun!

Hummingbirds

I put a hummingbird feeder on the front porch yesterday and I kept checking to see some hummingbirds. At first I thought that maybe I didn't have hummingbirds flying around here or that they weren't able to get the nectar but I finally saw one this afternoon. Actually, I saw two. They are so tiny and fast. I just barely got a picture. I'm so excited and I can't wait to see them more often!

We're Home

It feels so good to be home again! We have traveling nonstop since July. Hopefully, we're done traveling for awhile.
We had a great time down in Florida. We were pretty busy running around trying to see our friends. Of course we couldn't see everyone but I know that we will be back down sometime. The wedding that we went to was nice. We didn't actually see the ceremony because we didn't RSVP on time but the reception was fun. We got to see some of our friends there.
On Sunday, we went over to Orlando because Eric had work to do there. I basically hung out at Dave's place (our friend that lives in Orlando) and went to the pool. Eric and I had dinner with my cousin Jenny and her husband Jeff and Eric's buddy Dave at TGIF's. It was a nice but short visit. It's too bad we didn't have more time. It was great to see them.

On Our Way to Florida...Again

With all of our traveling to Florida, it feels like we never really left. This time we're going down for a wedding. That's wierd. Another wedding. This time it's Eric's buddy that's getting married down in St. Pete. It will be nice to see some of our friends.
Friday, we are going to the Patriots/Bucs game. That should be really fun. On Sunday, we head over to Orlando because Eric has to be there for business. We should return on the 16th or 17th.
We're just traveling fools!

Still Unpacking

We are both so excited to be in our new home. Everything is slowly coming together and we are still getting things unpacked and organized.
Sadie and Tucker are doing well. She's still learning the basic commands and has ajusted to her new name. When we adopted her, her name was Shirley. Not a bad name but not the one we wanted for her. She never really heard the name Shirley that often so it was easy to change.
Today, we woke up to a warm house. Apparently, our AC decided to to quit on us. Not a pleasant way to wake up on a Sunday. Luckily for us we had a technician come out today and fix it. One of the fuses was bad and the contacter (whatever that is) needed to be replaced. So, now we're good to go. I'm just hoping that unpacking goes a little more faster. I'm ready to be done!!!

Busy, Busy

So, I mentioned before that Eric and I are moved into the house. Right after that, we went down to Tampa for Amy and Russell's wedding. It was a great time and a beautiful ceremony. I have a few pictures from that weekend and a couple of pics of Sadie our new dog. We picked her up on Sunday. It took Tucker some time to accept her but now everyone is happy and doing well.
We finally got cable and internet at the house yesterday and I just got everything hooked up. That's why it has taken me soooooo long to get pictures on the blog. I am currently sitting on the hard floor trying to upload pictures. I do have more and I will put them up later when I can actually sit at my computer like a normal person. It is quite uncomfortable.
