When Daddy Buys Baby Clothes....

This is what happens when daddy shops for Evan.

It's intersting to see the difference in my shopping and Eric's shopping. Eric was really proud of this little outfit and I laughed when he brought this home. Definitely silly!

It's almost 11:00pm here in Chattanooga. Eric was exhausted after a busy day of doing yard work and Evan had a busy day just being Evan. I went to take a nice, hot bath and left Evan with Eric on the couch watching football and when I came back they were both sleeping. What's interesting about this picture is how they are sleeping. They are laying exactly the same! Like father, like son! Too funny!

Today is the Tennesee/Florida football game and my mom sent Evan a special outfit to wear for the big game. He is all ready for the game and has a ton of team spirit! I think he's going to enjoy football season as much as we do. He's off to a great start!

Evan Video

I took a some video of Evan today. He was just sitting in my lap smiling and being happy so I decided to catch on video. However, I also got him in the middle of a poop so he has a pretty serious face during most of it. The poopy sounds in the background are me and not him. It's pretty funny. Check it out!

One Month Old Today

Evan is 1 month old today! I can' believe it! He has changed since we brought him home a month ago. He starting to lose his hair on his head but right now it's only in the front on top so he looks like a little old man. He is little more chunky than before and his newborn clothes are starting to fit better. It's crazy! I took a couple pictures of him this morning but he was starting to wake up. I'll get some later if I'm able to. I also have a couple pictures of his name that we put in his room and the cute turtle costume I got for his first halloween. I found it at a consignment store. It was meant to be his! He is going to be so cute in it!

My First "Poopy" Experience

So, this evening, I went to change Evan's diaper. I thought it would be a good way to wake him up so that he would get ready to eat. I put him down on the changing pad, cleaned him up and was just about to put on a new diaper when his hiney erupted! I tried to catch it with the wipe that I had but it was coming to fast. Before I could grab another wipe, poop started to shoot out. I was laughing and screaming. My mother-in-law came in to help and she almost got sprayed. I finally got a washcloth to catch the poop. I had one for his pee pee and one for his hiney. They both got dirty and Evan was wet with pee and covered in poo. It was definitely bath time. He hated every minute of the bath and all he wanted to do was eat. Poor thing and poor me! It was quite an experience.

Oh, and by the way, he spit up on me earlier today and it went all down my shirt and into my bra! He must have had it in for me today. No worries. I just laughed at the whole situation. It was pretty funny.

Evan in the Pack-N-Play

Evan is starting to look at things around him and really focus on what he sees. I put a musical aquarium in the pack-n-play for him to watch and listen to music. He is enjoying the music and loves watching the fish. Here are a few pics of him chillin' in the pack-n-play.

Evan's First Bath

Evan had his first real bath on Sunday. He did not like too much as you can see in the pictures. However, after the bath, he seemed pretty calm and relaxed. He is such a cutie!

Daddy Feeding Evan

Here are a few pictures of daddy feeding Evan. I know he had to be pretty excited to be able to feed him. It didn't last long though. Evan sucked down that bottle like there was no tomorrow.
