Back in April, we got some daylilies that Eric's mom gave us. Eric planted them and we have been watching them grow. They have really grown alot since we got them and now we finally have a few flowers. They are very pretty. Here are a couple pictures.

Turtle Decor
I got my turtles printed this past week. They are the same turtles from the fabric we're using in the baby's room. My mom scanned them into the computer and we made our own art. I bought some plain 10 x 13 frames and painted them turquoise (same as the fabric). The turtles are now in the frames and all we have to do is get them on the walls. They look great!

Active Baby Video Clip
I was lying on the couch after eating dinner and the baby really started moving around. I'm on my right side and normally when I lay on that side I get kicked on my left. I put the remote on my belly and you can see the movements. It's crazy! Check it out! btw...there's no sound.
Prego Update
My feet have been doing better. The swelling really depends on how active I have been during the day. Some days are worse than others and some I barely notice much. They definitely are sore most of the time.
I've been feeling pretty good. Every once in awhile I get tired especially if I've had a busy day. I am up every couple hours in the night to go to the bathroom. That's not much fun. I am able to go back to sleep so that's good. Sometimes I'll wake up and look at the time and if it's been a couple of hours since my last bathroom visit, I just get up and go anyway. It's become part of my nightly routine. Joy.
I had an interesting moment yesterday. I washed some of the baby's clothes and as I was folding them and putting them away, I felt really weird. I've never folded such tiny clothes before and it really hit me that we're going to have a little baby. It was crazy! Obviously we're having a baby! We have been preparing for awhile now, buying a stroller and car seat, a swing, bouncer and spending time in the baby's room getting it ready. Not to mention my growing belly! However, yesterday with the clothes, I definitely had a WOW moment. It wasn't a bad feeling or scary feeling. Just a reality check. Pretty crazy!
So, the stroller and car seat that I mentioned is sitting in the guest room waiting to be used. I put it together several weeks ago and I'm glad I did. It had that new, funky plastic smell.
I found out last week that the base for the car seat was recalled. Good grief! I thought I was going to have to take it back but I'm eventually going to be sent a new base and we can still use our current base with the seat belt. The base has a latch system that is defective and not the base itself. So, we will have two bases. That will be nice to each have one in our car.
Other than that, the baby's room is still not finished but it will be soon. The closet is back to normal, the curtains are up and it's not as cluttered. My parents come up a week from today and we will be adding some finishing touches. Hopefully I will get some pictures to post. I can't wait to see it finally finished!

Oh My Swollen Feet!
I decided that I officially have Shrek feet! How did this happen so fast?! They are so ugly! I don't even have ankles anymore! The only difference between our feet is that mine are not green. I haven't been on feet alot today but it definitely doesn't take much before my feet blow up. I took my shoes off tonight and starting laughing at my Shrek feet. I could't believe how big they are. I have been wearing my birkenstocks because they are the most comfortable. They are as loose as they can be and they still leave strap marks on my feet. So, I guess I'll be spending the rest of my days resting with my feet on the roof! Good grief!!!!
I actually think my feet may be bigger than Shrek's! Yuck! :(
BTW...the toe ring is adjustable so it's not stuck in my skin.

Update
Well, things are going well. I'm still dealing with swelling and I have some discomfort in my muscles in my lower abdomen. I try to take it easy more and get my feet up but there are times when I just have to get things done. I started back at the gym a few weeks ago doing my weight lifting class. I definitely have to take easy. I do the least amount of weight and take alot of breaks. I basically focus on my upper body since I have had the lower muscle pain. It does make me feel good to be back in the gym.
I have another appointment a week from Friday. I just went last week and the baby is good. Still moving and kicking. I am looking forward to seeing the baby again. I could watch it move around all day. I poke at the baby every time it kicks me. It makes laugh all the time. It has some pretty good kicks.
I guess that's about all that's going on. Still trying to get the room ready. I can't wait to see it all finished. It's going to look so cute. I will post some pictures as soon as it gets done.

Belly Pic 29 Weeks
Here is a picture of my belly at 29 weeks. Not much of a difference from the 24 week picture. I'm just a little rounder.
